5 Ways to De-Stress

With exams over (or almost over for some!!) it’s time to prioritise looking after yourself. We can finally stop staring out the window as beautiful sunny days go by and actually get out there and enjoy it! Unwinding with a good book in the sun to hitting the dance floor with your besties- celebrating the end of exams is such a good feeling! Read below for some simple tips to help you feel more relaxed after a stressful period.

 

1.

Take some time out and brew a cuppa! There’s nothing like a hot cup of tea to clear your mind whilst sipping away. Plus, herbal teas have no caffeine and have ingredients that traditionally have been used for their calming effects – especially look out for chamomile and roses.

Catch up with your friends for brunch or a girls night in movie night! What a friends for if not distracting you from your worries and giving you lots of laughs?

Go somewhere new and out of the ordinary! Get some vitamin d at the beach or take your dog to a new park! Getting some fresh air is a really great way to clear your mind!

Try a beautiful bath bomb that looks like a piece of art! Put away for phone for a little while, pick up a good book and then think to yourself “why didn’t I do this sooner?” as you totally unwind! Look for fresh bath bombs with ingredients that are rejuvenating like Grapefruit Oil and calming ingredients like Rose Oil.

Retail therapy! Seriously, after a long period of stress there is nothing better than a night on the town in a stand out dress that you’ve wanted to wear for aageees! Splurge on the dress of your dreams or the shoes you’ve been lusting over all year!
